IIAD hires Cargill as new Project Specialist

Jessica Cargill, MPH, has recently joined the team at the Institute for Infectious Animal Diseases (IIAD), a Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Center of Excellence as a Project Specialist.

Cargill will largely be responsible for the evaluation of the international training and higher education programs within the Institute’s Education and Outreach (EOS) portfolio. From coordinating evaluation components and developing program data collection to conducting interviews and analyzing findings, Cargill will be working to ensure that all trainings are effective and impactful.

While the majority of Cargill’s work will be concerning the Institute’s EOS portfolio – which consists of youth, higher education and international training programs – she will also be collaborating and providing evaluation support with other portfolios within IIAD.

Previously, Cargill served as Population Health Coordinator for St. Joseph Medical Group and a Health Coach for St. Joseph Health Partners.

Cargill holds a Master of Public Health from the Texas A&M Health Science Center, School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from Texas A&M University.
