IIAD Supports Veterinary Paraprofessional Education in the Republic of Georgia

The Institute for Infectious Animal Diseases (IIAD) is grateful to the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) for inviting our Director, Dr. Heather Simmons, to lead Phase 2 of the Veterinary Paraprofessional (VPP) Curriculum Support Mission in the Republic of Georgia.

This impactful workshop brought together national stakeholders to strengthen veterinary paraprofessional education, refine training curricula, and support the continued development of Georgia’s animal health workforce. The mission emphasized collaboration, sustainability, and capacity building to enhance animal health services at the national level.

IIAD is proud to contribute to this important global effort and to support initiatives that advance animal health systems worldwide.
