Carrie serves as a Program Manager at the Institute for Infectious Animal Diseases, managing projects within the federal portfolio related to the optimization of organizational workflow for high-containment laboratories. She also assists with managing projects within the Cattle Fever Tick portfolio. Carrie brings extensive laboratory experience to the Institute with expertise in immunology and vaccine development, having previously held numerous research positions and managed federally-funded grants. Carrie holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M Health Science Center, as well as degrees in Animal Science from Texas A&M University (M.S.) and the University of Wisconsin- River Falls (B.S.). She is also a certified Project Management Professional.
