Carpenter and Estes present papers at international FMD symposium

FAZD Center principal investitgator Tim Carpenter presented a paper during the symposium in Australia.

Two principal investigators — Tim Carpenter of the University of California, Davis, and Mark Estes of the University of Texas Medical Branch — presented papers at the Foot and Mouth Disease International Symposium and Workshop in Melbourne, Australia, in mid-April.
Carpenter’s presentation, “The economic impact of a delay in detecting an introduction of foot-and-mouth disease in the United States”, has been submitted for publication in the Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation. Co-authors are Joshua M. O’Brien of UC Davis, and Amy D. Hagerman and Bruce A. McCarl of Texas A&M – all with FAZD Center.
